Well if your a shonen3 fan, you'll like deathnote, gurren lagann, and FLCL.

If you want fighting anime, idk, really its all in your preference of fight.

I strongly recommend Paranoia Agent. scenario is pretty decent. Very strange dark and it will make much sense until the end. It is a mystery and psychological horror genre

k, idd double on the death note... and more yeah try needless, kuro kami, Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou, to aru majustu no index; even though all of these dont exceed more then 23 - 36 episodes it can take quite a while if u dont rush trough them. i think hotd belongs here too,no?

btw @ to aru majutsu no idex u can also choose if you want to see a side story named: to aru kagaku no railgun, it has the same chars though they follow a different story though somethimes they cross each other. quite funny if u ask me. and yeah others id think of are moe or these: Gintama, Inuyashia, full metal alchemist, bo-bo bo- (depends on how far ur into this kind of shit), u probably know pokemon too but yeah ... /bad/worse then fills on naruto =-= the standarts are to low ... i think this is quite enough for some while not... the last i added i found nothing but these are certainly shounen-based anime.

Death Note - only 2 seasons to it and it has a very interesting backstory. The ONLY anime I've ever watched apart from Pokemon :-)

Get the dubbed English version though.

seasons are actually dated arround 12-13 episodes where as Death Note does has randomfied the value you can count 3.1-25 = Part L vs K and 26-37 N & M vs K
