Ok so for me

- i have the modern warfare 2 beta has been finished (when ihave old iw_22 and mac adress changed)

-i have iw_22.iwd file is incorrect (when i have mac changed and last iw_22.iwd file)

-I have you have "You have been banned from Modern Warfare 2" (when i do not change my mac adress... and last patch....)

-I have "Connect to ALTERIW.net" when i change file alteriw.ini..... I change the "server.alterIW.net" for the server that does not detect the IP

so what for solve that (if you put a link that can help me thank you send it to me by PM...)

Oh god why does it say that I am still banned after following all the steps correctly...

EDIT: I have seen the problem now... I can't change my IP address. I'm behind a router and resetting/restarting it won't do the trick... Please help.

goto run / cmd.exe type ipconfig/release restart ur modem then wait a bit gobackto ur pc type ipconfig/renew and it should of changed

go to your router change your router mac address and tune off your router and modem and tune on
it will changed your IP address if you have router

Do you lose your files if you use restore point on Windows Vista?

and this
Unban urself without a restore/recovery point
1. Format ur windows
2. Change Mac > reset modem
3.Install game >>> Play <<<

Using system restore reinstalling MW2 and changing my mac and ip work out great .

Edit:
After restarting to game the ban notice returns so this method doesn't seem to work.. But I tried creating a new user and I was able to get in game and restart with no problem.

ktyzd what os are you running?

windows xp, windows vista, or win7

I'm running windows 7 and just as a confirmation creating a new user does work . Just use jabbathehutt's unlocker and now I'm gonna snipe+aimbot. If i get banned i can simply delete and create a new user. If it doesn't work for you try changing your map and ip, I did both to try the system restore method but if that helped with creating a new user method.

Ok my internal network card has been blowned... so i change the to a pci card and now i playe (a netword card pci-slot as 10$) so not expensive
