    How do hand crossmods work?

    I want to learn on how to switch a default characters hands to a nx mercenaries hands, I don't really care about the rest. But I heard it isn't as simple as renaming or changing the model, and that you had to change a couple of variables. Is there a place where I can find a tutorial for this or can you explain it for me here or if its hard, please make a new thread reply for me. If I'm asking too much, please tell me, I'll understand. Thanks.
