You're correct; it is 9 iron ore per 1 block that you see.
But it wasn't hacked.
It's a dupe glitch I found on accident.

You get the item, put it in the chest, click the item and move it in the chest at a fast-moderate speed.

I can dupe any item; but the bad part is that you can easily lose your item while doing it. So just give me an item, i'll dupe it, and BAM!
