Sound Whore trick :D

My friend told me this Trick ( I dun know he got it :S ) Well


How to do it

1. Press the "Thanks" button.

2. Go to your modern warfare 2 install folder ( Normally>> C > Program files > Steam > steamapps > common > Modern warfare 2 )

3. Find your "Miles" folder and rename it to "_miles" ( remove the " <-- )

4. Your done ! Gratz

Okay, this is gonna get you a ban, just go in-game and test sum, u'll hear ALOT better. I've got surround system ( speakers ) and i play mw2 with it, and i can sound whore with it

- What it does -
- It remove's the start sound in-game like "Let's go rangers ! " and all that
- It removes the sound while you're in the lobby and searching game.

And some minor things too. If you don't like it, rename it to "Miles" again and it's normal

Why will it get you a ban? VAC said your allowed to put in custom sounds, textures etc and it will not trigger a VAC ban.

You can't be banned for this. It's been approved over at the Steam forums and the same applies to many games run by Steam. I'd rather play with my sexy headset though.

This actually helps a lot in SND. the last 30 seconds the music plays. with this is doesnt. making it easier to sound whore

Even if you have a good headset, removing some of the ambient noise makes it better.
Biggest trick though, would be a good headset like Blubb and company said.
