I saw a thread about the best computer for CA blah blah blah, these are gaming computer builds, sorta(:/

Well last time i checked you needed a computer to play ca, and it is in the general section (i'm not trying to be a smart-azz it jsut sounds that way.). I have seen a lot more random stuff that hasn't been closed.

Intel Core 2 Quad
ATI 5770 HD
4GB DDR3 RAM
2TB OCZ VERTEX TURBO SERIES SATA II 2.5" SSD

And that's it.

Also i forgot that it only cost me about $1400 back then for it, not too crazy. Also most of the parts i used aren't available anymore, but the ones that are, are actually more expensive than when i bought them, lol

Yeah, I dont game as much anymore cause of school and stuff; my computer is more of a workhorse then for gaming. I multitask. Alot. EG Photoshop CS5 and Office 2007 and iTunes. :3

Yeah it is pretty crazy how much power those programs use. i have yet to find a computer that actually runs itunes good though. I know that solidworks runs a lot better on my comp than the ones at my school.

Yep I have been using it since I made it. It is rigged up so good I haven't even had to touch the stupid bios in over a year. Your computer probably can take a better load than mine can, but mine has a faster cpu clock. So speed tests would be queite even.

Same thing for me too, My GA-8N is no longer available in stores, and I don't even remember the price I bought it for :x, I think around the 250$ range?
