I've heard about alterIWnet, but i'm not entirely sure I knnow what it is.

But is it a way to play modern warfare 2 eventough you are banned (which I am)

If ur banned from steam then yeah go play alteriwnet
its a private server independent from the official steam ones
just dont get banned there too

Simply, it's an improved steam version. Dedicated servers and an ingame serverlist :3
You can also kick/ban cheaters from your game, unlike steam where you'll just have to deal with it..

The 6,76Gb is the game.. you can use the patch tool (master131's) if you got steam installed already :3

(Though I updated from steam and it was easy without any tool =P)
