Hesitating to buy the game. Need suggestions!

Hi, i finally downloaded Call of Duty Black Ops for the PC and i finished playing the single player in about a day.
The single player was really intense and awesome. However the low rate of my fps kind of f**ed it up. On some of the levels i have got 9FPS while on some of the others i get 40FPS - 50FPS. On the zombies mission [Kino der Toten (zombie_theater)], i got a maximum of 100FPS when i look at the ground and i get 50FPS - 60FPS if i just look around. From 40FPS i am buying the game.

To point out the question, i just wanted to ask if theres a difference of fps between single and multiplayer, if so then how much? I am willing to play the game if i at least can aim at head without lagging. I also heard something about the patch in Black Ops last night. The fps i got on SP was WITHOUT the patch.

Thanks in advance, and for a quick extra i will show you my spec's if you need it:

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6300 @ 1.86GHz (2 Cored Processor)
Memory: 2 GB
Video Card: Nvidia GeForce 9500GT 1GB.

I'm running the game on Windows Vista Home Premium 32Bit.

Processor is far too low(need dual core @ 2.4 GHz minimum), you could try to overclock it to get close to 2.4.
Memory should be fine, GFX card seems fine as well.

I get more then that on zombie levels. I know i'm under the minimum but i don't have a clue how to overclock my CPU. I will search it up now..

get rivatuner but not sure if it overclocks your processor, if you wanna overclock, overclock by 5% or so, otherwise you might fry it and then you gotta buy a new cpu but I doubt they sell those anymore, and then a chain of events will occur

I suggest you not to buy it, it is awesome tho, I really liked it, but I don't think a thrown game worth 60$, they didn't care about bugs, they just wanted to throw the game out. We all had our bad days when your FPS dropped down to 1 FPS, and you got killed for lag, when you had 6 killstreak.

Buy a Russian key, don't make my mistake.

Thanks for the suggestions, i will try some overclocking things and then i'll buy the game. If it's really that bad i will try to get a refund or sell it.
