Wat are signs of getting banned?

i just want to know wat are the signs u getting banned in black ops..cuz im stuck at connecting..

1. same ban's as mw2,
2. if your perm banned you will ALWAYS/NEVER be able to connect to their servers. so if you haven't connected for a week+ then your banned,
3. if you have attempted to connect to the servers even for 1sec or couple mins, then your not banned.

qq and buy the game again, i just bought a rus key got them to activate my acc, download the old english files and done.
