the exe. does it make a difference :/ ?

That's what I am trying to figure out because obviously someone from VAC can download the .exe and make then make VAC scan for if that .exe is running but apparently if they scan for python they cant tell if it is running a hack or not.

Is the mw2 boxexp .py script detectable or only the .exe?

Does anyone know anything about this?

Only the .exe. Scanning for a python script running in the memory is very hard to detect.

and what if you only run the launcher from the zip file? can VAC still scan it?

The game will launch, once i join again I still get the same CMD Promt syntax as before

Im on Windows 7 64 Bit on the default Areo theme
I have ActivePython-2.6.5.12-win32-x86 installed
I have DirectX9c installed
Im running the game in windowed mode
Like I said before the display box latches in game but once im in a sever nothing toggles or works and when i look at the CMD Prompt I get the same syntax
This will happen when I use the Launch.exe or run it from python.

Are you saying I could go run the python version of the detected MW2 hack and (most likely) get away with it?

If so, I don't know why anyone would even release a .exe version if a .py is undetectable.

Hey the hack works but when i try to run the source with python it cant find win32gui.py and closes and i looked in src and couldnt find it myself, did you forget it or is somthing wrong on my side?

win32gui is part of the ActiveState python install. Don't install Python from other sources.

Of course, when you run it from a zip file, it is automatically extracted and run from a temp folder.

I find that when I die and respawn, the hack stops working? Anyone else have this issue? As in the radar freezes and BOXESP ceases to work anymore.

ActivePython contains other files that are not included in the standard Python installation.

The reason this hack is for windows 7/Vista is because it uses functions of Windows AERO to use as a medium to draw the hack information on. Windows XP does not and will not have those functions on it (Sorry).

What version of python works? I'm using x64 2.6.6 but I get this error when launching launcher.py
