Hacking is definitely a liberty that can grant you an admission to jail. However, he may be bluffing. There was never a case of people going to jail for online-game hacking. But, as I always say, don't be too paranoid.

a hack refers to something you void and risk whatever game or topic it may be.
Bringing it to a legal matter, they can make accusations against you but if your underage you will most likely get a suspension or fine from the Game, but since your underage your parents/guardian will deal with it and most likely ground you so you can call that "jail" Juvenile Prison lol
