I didn't leave, I can multi task, this is nothing for me. Just bare with me.

I wanted 2010 just to keep everyone uniform, using the same software and framework (each framework has new functions)

All the teachers requested students use 2008, So, use either or, the language is the same Regardless, but teachers will be showing you the 2008 version of VC++.

VC++ is free for both, so use whichever one makes you feel comfortable. If you ae a total beginner, then use the one the teacher is using to follow along.
