Um, how so? As the person said just before, there are 82 pages in 4 days. If you put an app in on the first day and didn't check back until now you have pages to browse through to find if you got the spot, and you have to keep scanning the thread to make sure there are no lesson times confirmed, outlines posted....etc etc. Sure, you could do that. Or you could just open a program and click on the tab with your appropriate course and see all the students, the teacher's name and the lesson plans.

Go figure.

No, Inrto to database is a course that will take you through the basics of application and database interrogation, both local and online databases.

Kevin (blubb1337) is the programming sections go guy for this type of information, it is deff. a beneficial course.

If you are taking advanced VB , I suggest the course, anyone serious about development in VB should understand databases and it's integration.

It is very much needed.

Rich, I was considering making a tool with DB access for quick access to a specific course (all courses can be viewed) for latest course outlines, lesson times, student's emails (teacher/admin access only) ... and so on. It'll have to be a pretty sizeable project so I thought I may as well see if it would be worth it before I get too into it. I've laid out the groundwork, got the database going and all that jazz, but there is a lot to do.

If Richard agrees, make a project on Codeplex and we'll get it done(if you want me 2 help you/if you are not done yet).

I agree, Database is very important. Up to the team, you guys get it done, have jason start a codeplex for the project and whatever works best, I assume jason will need a database for that too?

@blubb I will PM you 10 Databases. 1 for the teacher and 9 more for students.
They will be removed from server eventually, But they will be there for you to use. assign them to the students when needed.

If you plan on continuation of the classes, I will simply clear the databases and change PW after each course.

@ the website everyone keeps asking, I will post it, you guys need to know how picky I am.
I am using Wordpess, A premium theme, custom back end , custom software to manipulate and automate as much as possible, custom HTML5 for Geo Location and a few other features, custom PHP scripts (all which I am developing and have to code because they don't exist) I am building some custom plugins for the site to simplify everything, content , management, Custom graphics, add all that to the fact that I am very picky about the design and everything else, I deleted the site 4 times already, I still have to add teachers as users, customize the backend and a few other small things, but it should be done VERY soon.
