MPGH Fundraising

I saw that the Fundraising section of the charity was empty so here is hope for ideas.

I know people are already talking about this but maybe someone has a really good idea.
So If you have a good idea post it and maybe you could get something, but dont expect it because most likely the thread is going to be full of flame.
But if you are just going to flame or spam and don't have a good idea please do not post.

Hold a day long Xbox/CA/PS3/WR etc tournaments, charge 10 bucks a person, 4 person teams and give out some prizes.

Tournament like this in a community this large should do well.

Use Time Zones for different tournaments.
Allow uses to select game.

At the end, Each time zone battles for first place. If they can't make the Admins set time, they ae disqualified. Simple as that really.

But the prizes would have to be substantial.

ya well i figure we do one prize per group, have minions be the people in charge for each indivual tournament, thats what, 10 tops? the money incoming should surpass the expenditures

two teams - 80 dollars, heavily advertise it get a bunch of teams, if not enough sign up in time just move the date back.

it doesn't necessarily have to be a gaming tournament, any competition + prizes + human want to win = money. especially if the "leaders" do it, we get Obama, Dave, Arun etc into it people will automatically join en masse

4 person teams only works with Halo, and thats Xbox EXCLUSIVE.
teams of 4-8 would work for pretty much ALL games. CoD, Halo, RDR, and any other party system using online game for all game stations. but I like your idea and I will participate IF i mean IF you can get this thing up and runnning

you can invite people to private matches on live for 4 on 4, its a stretch but true. and we could do 1v1 thats more of once we get the rest of it planned
