So, I needed to update my PATH environment variable to include the "bin" directory/folder under the java installation directory. Specifically, I added the following to my PATH environment variable:

    C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_03\bin

Within a DOS window, you would do the following:

    set PATH=%PATH%;C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_03\bin

To make the change permanent, you'd have to update the system or user environment variables. To do this, right click on "My Computer", choose "Properties", click on the "Advanced" tab, then click on the "Environment Variables" button. Select the "PATH" line, click the "Edit" button, and add the appropriate directory to the end of text that already exists for the PATH.
I found this for you. This should do the trick
