Paintball shootouts are fun as he'll but airsoft guns I don't run in the open as much cuz I don't wanna get fucked up if someone starts bustin at me

Yes.. but the airsoft side of that video were civilians.

This is civilian Airsoft, vs civilian paintball.

EDIT: Law enforcement & military use Airsoft guns more than paintball: better accuracy and better realism.

Why on earth would police enforcment use airsoft rifles? Are they going to annoy rioting protesters with tiny little pops? Most tactical law enforcment agencies use less lethal rounds like beanbags, rubber bullets, and gas. The former two being pretty much like actually getting shot.

And the only thing you say that airsoft holds over paintball is that its more tactical. You have clearly never played paintball with 2 sergeants that were off base for an afternoon of paintball.

Besides, that doesn't even matter, because they aren't us. And we have Police and Army come and play with us all the time.

They train with Airsoft rifles because the mimic the real thing almost identically apart from the magazines and a slightly different firing system. They operate the same, disassemble the same, same weight, etc...

I know it's not a third.
For a statistic, someone has to find out what type of guns are owned. Record of sales determine that. Legal sales. Registered weapons.
I'm pretty sure there's unregistered weapons out there, but if it was a third, somethig would be done about it considering it's illegal, and I'm pretty sure 2/3 of Americans aren't involved in arms deals.
