    [Solved]Saving info to a text file?

    Hey people. I am wonderring, is there a way to save info to a text file, like server side player stats or something? I want to do stuff like save what weapons people have, or how much money they have earned.

    No, as far as I know - there is no way to save player stats server side via a GSC script. External programs *may* be available but I'm not sure of their existence. The closest we can get to filewriting, reading, appending etc is in CoD4: (OpenFile(); CloseFile(); FPrintln(); FGetArg()) but only works when developer_script is set to 1, hence making it useless for MP modes.

    I have my own method for saving stats, but its highly efficient and exploitable (client side, not server side)

    Well, Ability (I think that's his name)
    Just released a waypointing mod (If you don't know what that it is, it's in short a mod that let's you make waypoints for bots to follow) which saves the waypoints in the games_mp log

    Maybe that's what you want?

    There is/was a forge mod allowing to place objects, save it, and via a program, retrive where they got placed. So probably possible. All I remember, was that it involved something with Print.
