All I know about the new patch is that there will be a mode called "hero" mode. There are 16 people, which 3 start as the mutant and 1 starts as the hero. The hero gets 2 weapons, a grenade launcher (3/9 ammo) and gun (60/300 ammo).

Mutants can respawn, and every time a mutant is killed, there is a bar at the bottom that fills. At it's max, bullets do 50% more damage.

Otherwise it's just like mutation mode.
