Combat Arms Weird Lag Spikes

Kay, so I've been playing Combat Arms for about a year now, and lately I've been getting these weird lag spikes. I know it's not someone trying to join me, because it just happened while my messenger was fucked up. These lag spikes happen, and last for about one or two minutes. It lags so much you can't even aim for the amount of time. Anybody have any suggestions on what I can do?

Same for EU i deleted half of my friends list coz im sure its when ppl join u. u get tht annoying popup box and lags ur game

I dont think you can do much to solve this. But is not a bad idea for you to start giving some maintenance to your computer. Try deffraging your hard drive and using Ccleaner.

If the lagspikes continue, then you will be sure that is not your pc.

BTW can you post your PC specss?

Nah, if it was crappy hardware, the game wouldn't have lag spikes.
It'll just lag all the way.

1. Ctrl+alt+Delete.. End task Engine.exe
2. Ignore ^.
3. Ctrl+alt+delete all processes your NOT USING, which can lag up your game..
5. Don't have all your weapon's modded.. Don't use a custom Loader screen.
6. Don't hack?
7. You didn't notice 4. was missing.

Deleting not used processes is also bad.
If you don't know which is which.

Try possibly GameBooster. I just downloaded it last night and played my best non hack game my fps before it was at 7 now its at 20[/B][/SIZE][/COLOR][/FONT]

it could be the recent patch

baxstar was experiencing these lag spikes form people sending him notes

if you delete NMService.exe from the CA folder it will make it so u dont get notes
