In a post by zh1nt0, the four maps for the Battlefield 3 expansion pack, Back to Karkand have been confirmed.

The maps include: Wake Island, Strike at Karkand, Gulf of Oman, Sharqi Peninsula.

zh1nt0 also stated that these maps have a total playtime of over 25,000 years! According to findthebes*****m, there has been about 3.6 million copies of Battlefield 2 sold since it's release date. That comes out to about 2.5 days of playtime per copy of Battlefield 2 sold! Now lets see what Battlefield 3 will do to those numbers

With more Battlefield 3 content being revealed at GDC 2011 in just a few days, there's been a hint that Modern Warfare 3 could be there. A site was sent to Joystiq, https://findmakarov[dot]com/, which has a countdown to GDC 2011, the first of March. Activision commented saying that they are not revealing MW3 yet, and that anything saying otherwise is a hoax.

It still raises the question though, if it's true, is Activision trying to steal some of EA's heat with the redundant CoD series? We'll just have to wait till Tuesday to find out.
