We don't make suggestions on basics.
i recently saw a post in the GFX section, said he should change some details, im just letting you no that when you give CnC, you give suggestions not commands.
that is pretty annoying when people say shit like that.
We don't make suggestions on basics.
you dont have to suggest shit
your giving what you see wrong/right with the art piece
suggesting just comes with it
@Hyak
No shit, i said that people give commands and they should give suggestions.

dont talk like you have any idea of what your talking about
you just told me to "lrn2read" when your post obviously ignored what i said
cnc is telling what you see wrong or right not giving suggestions right?
you obviously ignored that and said "they should give suggestions"
now shut the fuck up, no flame wars in this section
The system of cnc dissipates after people have reached a place where art is their own, and it's so much of a personal thing that no one can say what's right or wrong about it.
Suggestions come when someone has something in their work that is a rookie mistake or a simple, overlooked flaw that isn't normally present in the work of their skill level.
The second instance they come is when two or more people all share the same sort of vision for a piece, and all want it to be the best it can be.
Tips, or "commands", as you call them, are simply reminders of basic elements that often get overlooked.
We won't tell you to "try and match your colors" because colors that don't work with each other look disgusting.
We won't tell you to "try and establish a focal point" because in most cases in small art, a focal point is needed.
We won't tell you to "try to use burns, dodges, blurs, and sharpens to create gradual depth" because depth is a common element to art, especially if the art is atmospheric (a scene in an environment that contains aspects of physics and nature). People realized that was a basic element back during the Renaissance. There's no reason it shouldn't make sense 7 centuries later.
In short, anything we give in the imperative, at least from the vets around here, is solid advice that should very much be taken into consideration and practiced.
If you can't take it, don't post.
Being nice or polite about it doesn't get the point across.
And you'll say, "Well they don't have to list it off like bullet points without explanation".
That's where you have to meet us in the middle and realize how many times we've explained things. In addition, if your complaint is that we don't elaborate, a simple Google search will get you a solid definition of what we're talking about, as well as some tips.
We can't do everything for you.
@Ethereal I ranted again...

@Ryan
DUDE!!!
i say give suggestions NOT commands, as in NOT commanding someone to do something a certain way on there piece.
As in
"i THING you should take this out"
not like
"TAKE this out it looks bad"
GET IT!?!?!?!
