Yea i might get ram today.. my ram broke i had 2x 2g and 1 broke so i am going 2g at the moment i just got a new powersupply a 600watt for 39.99. so ram would only cost like 40$ at most if i want 4g

I tried buying 4gb for mine, at first it worked but windows x86 doesnt recognize more than 3.5 gigs of ram, so Dave was like move to x64, and i was like ok sure. Ended up fucking up my hard drive, had to buy a new one, and lost all the stuff in my old one. Also ended up returning the ram bc i was pretty sure it was cursed.

i have a radeon x1600 and i can run crysis 2 on high settings xd
not great but i can play it
with p4 3.4 ghz ( not oc )
ddr dimm 400 mhz 2.5 gb ram ( it sucks i know )

That happened to me everything was fine, until i tried installing x64, then i got memory dump errors and cannot finish install on HD, etc so i format the HD, and still same errors and could not fix or install, so basically the hard drive was useless, because even when i tried installing W7 x32 it wouldn't work.

You do know crysis 2 is a weaker game graphically than the original crysis? The textures for crysis 2 are of a lower resolution. That being said, any card can run crysis 2 on extreme, being able to do it well is another story. I dont know how or why card bandwidth is being brought up, the deciding factor is how many stream/cuda cores there are as well as memory and gpu clocks. My card has a memory bandwidth at above 100gb/s but that doesn't mean I can play crysis on extreme with a proper resolution.

Crysis 2 lowered it so lower gpus can play if crysis 2 went to the max even a gtx 460 would have problems
