How to freeze procces

Well in order to do the "Gp-Hack" i must "freeze" the address of my xp 1199 in my case i can't find the command "freeze" so i suppouse that is "lock" but if i change the value to 1199 and then i "Lock" it it returns to the previous value (the original) so could some1 tell me exactly what i have o do?

lock it at 1399999 and if doesnt work you got the wrong address

Lol right- click, Modify, Value When Locked: type in 1399999- click OK, Right click again Lock Selected

But if i lock it it goes back to the original value 4ex:
original value: 1
i change it to 2
then i do right click on it i select "Lock Selected" and it goes back to 1 =S.
is that ok?
