1.5 Release Date is Very Soon

Checking out some links on a website and i was finally brought to this

Minecraft was supposed to have a major new update this week that would have added things like weather effects along with the long awaited in-game achievements and stats features. However players of the hit indie sanbox game will have to wait a little longer.

According to a post on his blog site, Minecraft creator Markus "Notch" Perrson states, "There's been significant feature creep ... so we don't have time to get it out this week. But next week!" One of the new features that will make it into the patch is one we like a lot; Notch writes " ... lightning hitting a pig will turn it into a zombie pigman."

Thats the release of the final build. Its still in beta now, but 11.11.11 is the release date for the actual game.
