    McAfee Issues with Rez Stuff

How do I get McAfee to trust RezInject, RezExtract, DTXConvert, DTXView, and the like?
Retired from CA Rez Modding as of 4/18/11, and will return once McAfee isn't so stupid.

    This.

    Use Avira antivirus.

It's fast and has a better virus guard.
    imo, of course.

I have McAfee (and it's a load of monkey shit).

    What to do:
    1. Open McAfee
    2. Click the "Real-time scanning" link (should be a check mark next to it)
    3. Click the third link "Real-time scanning settings".
    4. Click "Turn off" and from the drop-down menu select how long you want them off, click "Turn off" again.
    5. Make sure this real-time scanning is off before you click on programs that have false positives in the online scans.

    Tip: Just un-install McAfee ASAP.

Edit: Theres also a way to allow special permissions for certain programs in either the "Firewall" link or the "Real-time Scanning" one. Putz around and you'll figure it out.
