My family has a history of dealing with computers. My older brother (he is now 27) when he was 13 built his own computer and was already in calculus at the high school. He started learning different languages and by the time he was 15, He knew C++, PHP, Python, Java, Perl, and give or take another. He dropped out of school at the age of 15 and went to work for this company at $40 an hour. After that he went to another job and another before finally coming to work at Facebook in 2005, this was just when the company was starting and there only were 40 employees. He is manager of internal operations which deals with coding the website etc. My dad is a software engineer Jeppesen. He codes programs for the Planes like how much fuel do they need etc He also codes special programs to figure out how to spend less fuel. Now I have always been fascinated about computers and I started learning Just Basic when I was about 10 and a half. After that I moved on into Visual Basic 2006/2008 and Html/CSS. That was a lot of fun I enjoyed VB a lot (: although I couldn't really do a lot of stuff in it I still enjoyed it. Then when I was 13 I started learning Java and so far this is one of my favorite languages of all time
I would make complicated games with java swing and other stuff. Now when I was reaching the end of year 13...lol.... I built my own computer! Just like my older brother and I felt really proud.. Also I started learning C++ back around in the middle of when I was 13 after messing with java thoroughly. At this time I am still trying to fully understand c++ and I'm still learning. I enjoy every single moment on the computer ( I know no life geek? ;p)
