Magic Arrow may or may not trigger a response in my experience, which is strange, since if you do bonus missions, they are indeed considered 'normal' attacks.

I've posted this somewhere before but theirs an easier way.
-activate ai idle b4 boat starts
-spear his ankle once, he'll follow u but if u have 9999 sprint, he won't be able to get you.
-after he stops chasing u, spear his ankle again, he WILL follow you again.
-after doin this 2-3 times he will stop.
-once he has stopped, u now have the ability to spear his ankle without him having a reaction. (It'll take a minimum of atleast 25-30 spears to get his ankle. Theirs about 4 flinches)
-once you hve gotten the break off spawn the golden ball and kill him.
again, if u think this way is obvious, there are others who don't know.
