Fast Crafting

This is kind of an emerging cheat/hack, its not well tested yet, but I found it while messing around with the console. Not sure if it's been listed yet.

Anyhow, if you use the command manufacture_craft <itemcode> it will craft that item if you have the materials. It seems that it crafts it instantly.

For example, I am a weaponsmith, I can do:

manufacture_craft longsword_veteran

to make a veteran longsword instantly.

Things I'm not sure of:

Not sure if you get proper skillups, as this item is gray to me, and the only things I can skill up on at this point are the items at the end of the novice spectrum where you can only get 2/3 weapon finishes per day

Not sure if you can craft stuff above your skill

You cannot craft something for which you do not have the recipe, trust me, i tried to make a dev_gm_hammer, no dice, also real recipes which I dont have yet, like longsword_nightmare

Could use some more testing on this, if anyone is willing to try it out.

i remember there was "blacksmith_craft_time_sec x" where x would be the number, but i've never tested it so no idea if it works

no, that command doesn't work, there is a manufacture_craft_time_sec x command too, i tested and it doesn't work either, the blacksmith_craft_time thing worked for me one time, but the next time it did not, so not sure what changed

There is one for blacksmith and one for cloth ("dye"); those commands, however, are for NPC crafting, not avatar crafting.

Good find. Cuts down on the crafting times where you have to afk for hours for levelups -_-".

I haven't tried this on my nub acct, but not having the recipe also means that beginner craftsmen cannot craft ivory weapons out, right?

Excellent. The second best part is, you don't even have to be standing at the tools to do it.

You do have to know the recipe already though.

Correction: You need the expertise to use it. Just having the recipe is not good enough.

Most of the items crafted gives 1 prof point legitimately. You only get 2 on 2x exp weekends.

At times you do get 2 points without the weekend :X
