YES i am using the new FAC

You should only be using vzipflip6 not hfssign along with it.. There should be no message like that from vzf6.


Maybe some other reason your game is crashing.

tried to edit FAC6B533E4D245CE8B9A67DB1472B2B98F3F54FA with the common preset so i can have my perma binds (don't need all the stuff with everyone's release, i just like to have no agro/map change and port to towns)

1. tried it with vzipflip6
2. unzipped the .zip file
3. editted the FAC (new one)
4. zipped it
5. then vzipflip6 back to hfs..

and it won't load my game. is there anything wrong i'm doing?

also, i'm using a fresh HFS folder, only mod i'm using is H_D's re-release of Ul's paper mobs.

Don't unzip it and rezip it, that won't work. Edit the files from within the zip file, after you save winzip will ask you if you want to update the zip file, select yes.

Or u can just use the old way
that is still working !!!

1) make a back up of ur Hshield folder (actual one)
2) delete that folder
3) replace with old hshield folder
4) start any console u want the old one from Hell_demon work fine ( if u kept it )
5) run vindictus .exe
6) and at the boat screen bind all the cmd u want
7) quit and and delete the old hshield folder and copy paste the original one

Hello all, I am new to this and reading up on how to use vzipflip and have run into a couple snags.

1 - I searched for the new fac hfs, but I only show 1 from yesterday (17th, not 18th) after I search within the folder.

2 - just to get a look at what was inside the file, I opened it, and their are over 100 files, and many things to edit within each one. My question, what exactly am I looking for, to mess with?

I will keep searching in the meantime. Thank you in advance.

I'm using 7-Zip, and it's not allowing me to edit within a .zip folder. Does it have to be winzip, or can I still use it with 7-Zip in a way I don't know of yet?

Not sure I don't like 7-zip and have not used it in a long time.. Isn't it a command based program? I dunno, I use winzip pro which I love..

It has a file manager, and should allow for editing. Guess I'll play around with it and see.

Edit: It's probably because my version of 7-Zip is 4-5 versions behind the current lol. Downloading new one...

Edit2: Nope, the latest version of 7-Zip isn't working for me either. I guess I'll have to go get a copy of winzip now.

In order to edit the file with in winzip do you need to have the full version or will the trial suffice? I keep getting 2 errors that say I cannot rename and create the file.
