[Tut] how to get rid of lag

this is a fairly easy way to get rid of lag
what this tutorial will show you is how to make your computer the most improtant on your router(how to change priority) This will make your computer use more of the bandwidth from your internet
when you lag it is probably mostlikely due to the fact that other people are hogging the internet but now you can be the hog

Step 1: Go to your routers website
3 ways to do this are type in your ip that you find under
start/ connect to/ pick your router then do status and there you go
faster way is go to network youll see a box with random numbers right click then click go to router web site
final option go to router it prob says it on the bottom

    step 2: log on
The pass is probably 1 of the following nothing so leave it blank
admin password or something that the person set it up would do

    step 3:
    go to advanced tab

step 4 : select the QOS ENGINE sub tab, or something like it depending on your router

step 5: where it says name type what you named your pc

step 6: set priority to 1

and then you will be the number one on the priority and youll have the most bandwidth and have less lag

plz thank me um if anyone wants i can do a tut on how to set up another router just as in comments rember to thank

Also one more thing you can even make a proscess the number one priority instead of your pc name put in engine.exe for example and that will give all the bandwith u need plus more
