RTD or RDM help

Hey guys, I had played mw2 for a very long time, grew very fond of it and still love the game more than anything, but I was playing a roll dice mod game and I had one of the bad rolls, where the UAV got huge and took up the whole screen, they called it like annoying thing or something, and the host migrated and the game quit. Now ever since, whenever I play a game the uav is there taking up the whole screen. It only doesnt do it on HC, but I hate that mode. I have tried uninstalling the game and everything I can think of to get it to go away, but it just won't. This thing alone was enough to ruin the game and make it unplayable for me. Can anyone please help me get rid of it? Anything would be greatly appriciated.

Close MW2. Find your Modern Warfare 2 folder (probably Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty modern warfare 2). Then go to players folder and delete the file called "config_mp.cfg". This will make your minimap small again.

I guarantee you that this works, and it will not delete any of your settings/stats, because MW2 will create a new file the next time you launch.
