No bypass/hacks is really not that bad...

Lets be honest here, when there were bypasses and hacks, ALMOST EVERYONE who played CA used it, turning Combat Arms into a new game (lol, everyone had Chams at least, and I can expect Harolds Bypass to have had millions of downloads). Any bypass wasn't too hard to get; a simple Google search linked a page to MPGH.net

Now CA is just a regular FPS with the occasional VIP hackers.
But now Dave is coming out with another bypass for CA to be literally ruined again. We need some way to just keep this bypass "public" but not spread it out across millions of people...

Dave, if you're reading this, at least make the Combat Arms section NOT for guests, and only for registered users?

Hm, That'd be a nice idea.. And make it so you need 50+, Or even 75+ posts to download stuff, That way Choobs wont be so frantic about "[Release]..." Then download a virus without knowing and ruin their computer. -.-

Those weeks of kazillions of hackers were horrible, it was like "ZOMG u a haxor" or " you have no skill hacker", i really got tired of it, if this was only to registered users it wouldnt stop everyone (some would just make an account) but all the really fat lazy people wouldnt do it, AND THAT WOULD PROBABLY STOP HALF THE PEOPLE WHO PLAY COMBAT ARMS! (also dave if you do do this, make it so they need an activation link thru email.

I would agree with the min post to Dl but it kinda sucks for Choobs like me who just found this site but are trying to contribute as to not be a leech. I have posted on many things and am in the process of learning how to upload files so I can get some tools I have out there into the community. Sadly even with all my postings I see my count is still something like 3 or 4 so I would be screwed until I can afford to get my VIP. And before you flame me for being poor know I am a film student with 6 kids so my money goes to other things but when I have $20 to blow I know what im getting. A hamster!!!! jk im getting VIP because the programmers need to be repaid for their time and effort.

Yeah, but they can see topic titles, comments, and stuff which gives them inspiration to become a member and download everything.

I can bet that if they cant enter the Combat Arms section as a guest, they wont even bother signing up.

Controlling the access could definitely be handy. I'm willing to put in my time before earning the right to use the bypass.
