Yep Combat Arms has Punkbuster

i was looking through the programs on windows firewall an i sa 2 punkbusters i was like what and i knw one of them was for warrock but i didnt kno what the other one was for so i blocked them both and now every time i try to connect to a server it wont connect

Doesn't for me, The only time I see PB in my processes is when I run WarRock,
I've checked this before, It has never come up with Combat Arms before..

When you install a game with PB, it will be there forever even if you uninstall the game. To remove PB you have to uninstall it using PB uninstaller from PB Official website. So no CA does not use PB! even if you see PnkBstrA running in the background.

well that means your computer is fucked up.

NO CombatArms does NOT use PunkBuster it uses HackShield

This was discussed before. Search in your windows system32 for the files pkbstrA.exe and pkbstrB.exe. There will also be a folder, C:\WINDOWS\system32\LogFiles, inside is a punkbuster folder with two log files in there. if you read them you can find out a little about when they got there, and what they've been up to (right click, properties).
These are not removed with the games that put them their. Sometimes, even card/board/java games from major search engines/sites, like MSN, can use punkbuster to eliminate cheaters because some games have actually money involved.

CAN YOU PLEASE EXPLAIN "FRESH PC"
There was a thread earlier about a person reinstalling windows and he was also asking about sys restore (PLEASE DO NOT EXPLAIN SYS RESTORE EITHER!!!! I WILL GET PISSED OFF!!! I KNOW WHAT THE FUCK IT IS AND DOES!!). This is not necessarily a fresh pc. Fresh to me is outta the box.

To explain the outburst, alot of people miss the fuckin' ball when responding to posts with questions. Exspecially when they say the obvious and state "search button", without searching themselves. By the way, PEOPLE DON'T FILL IN TAG LINES SO A FUCKIN' SEARCH IS USELESS!!!!!!
