Out of the 3 major religions, the only other holy book that matches the violence in the Quran would be the first section of the Bible; The Old testament.
All that violence stopped eventually when Christ ministered.
Muhammed didn't come along and preach tolerance for others like Christ did.
He was an antagonist, and did much like the Jews did back in the OT and used a God as a tool to gain followers of his regime, and also to justify violent acts.
There is nothing stating in the Quran that the violence within that book is to stop at any given timeline.
That being said, it is presently the most violent religion.

If people cannot see this, than they are either ignorant to the fact, or they can't force their minds to accept this. Think about it. Everywhere Islam has spread wildly geographically you have violence.
