i've tried modding my own hfs from the latest one, even tried altering the date n time to match the original one, no luck. i guess there must've been a file check like hash checking. guess we'll have to wait for the rehfs for vzipflip to be updated to do this.

Looks like they added a new header.

i dun think they did, if they do, they'll have to add for each n every hfs file in there. which is about 2gigs plus. i think they just made hs to verify something else within the hfs files...like date(which i tried with a free program called eXpress TimeStamp Toucher to change datestamp, it was a negative) or something similar.

so it's not about file date, it's not about file size.
so what is the thing that turns on that freaking HS.

Whatever check it's doing, it's doing it as it loads the .hfs's into memory.

My guess is they updated the checksums.. Which requires a new vzipflip/hfssigner or similar app.
