Play on alter IW without DL?

Do I need to DL the 6.76GB file to play on Alter IW net? I already have MW2 on my computer, so isn't there just a small file I can DL? or is the actualt alter IW fil 6.76gb?

No, you have to download 6GB. and then update (if you want) to aIW2.
