GFX Restructuring

I've decided to remove the entire GFX team, why you ask? - Because the team has no purpose. Giving a group of people a tag and fancy colored name, and a section to discuss stuff and have nothing meaningful come out of it is pointless. Even when something is asked of you guys, nothing is done, not even an attempt or post by any of you in many cases. A very common excuse is "I'm too busy" - in that case you shouldn't be on the team. The most I've seen from this GFX team is trolling and flaming up the GFX section which is not tolerated.

So what is going to happen next? I am going to find someone in the GFX forums who is driven, has a pleasant attitude and can find a purpose for these so called "GFX" members and assemble a "team". The team is here to help build the GFX section and MPGH as a whole.

If you think you can fill in this position don't hesitate to message any of the admins.

First of all i know im not going to get hired cause im a new fag and i may not be as good at GFX as the others, but in general it's dave's choice. And Plus i have good ideas for this section. and im only active in this section and its the only section i go to. hey this may be a chance for me to actually try something and see if im good at it. And i don't want this position just to get a tag or a coloured name or the vip or whatever. im doing this for a chance to contribute to something for the first time in my life

K, I understand you want to contribute to this section and I believe you can but the reason why I have said you need over 1k post is to get known through out the section.

You talk about flaming and trolling, but that happens in every section on MPGH.
Might help if people that came to this section didn't come in here trolling themselves,
and I have plenty of examples of that..
I find this a complete joke considering that there are other staff positions that are simply useless anyway.

I made the badges for sotw, I help Ryguy with posting the winner threads, and made the current threads while he was gone..but yeah I'm useless..I could have been doing other things with my time, BUT I DIDN'T.

Dave look, I understand you have been wanting to face lift the Graphics section,
but dude I just came back on a month ago. If you would have asked me to do something,
I would have tried my hardest to get it done. Don't you remember the Pm I sent you a while back about hosting a banner competition? Honestly I wanted to try making one myself..cause the original is tired as shit..but I figured a competition would promote activity.
I know you think people have been being useless, but I was working on shit for weeks,
I even tried learning how to make tutorials, which a few people have helped me with,
and I wrote my first one. The plan was to get monthly resource packs posted in the resource thread,
and Scrcrw helped me with that by providing .psd files so newer artists could learn.
I'm not mad anymore about losing my position, I'm more pissed off at the fact that I wasn't given a chance to show you guys that I was going to help provide as much as I can for this section.
Things were already in the works to do that, I have been helping with the sotw's,
and like I said earlier Liz was looking for new badges, and that got done.
Other than that no one ever asked me to do a single thing besides that..
Besides Liz asking for graphics tutorials, which I posted one for a website button logo.

Any time anyone asked something of me I did it..I was only on for a month,
but in that month if people really thought I was slacking, then I would like to ask this:
What has anyone else done for the section? Other than a few randoms posting resources,
and credits to +ddstorm for his tutorials.

I felt I needed a rebuttal here.
Dave anyway you could have at least warned us,
Lit a fire in us and explain that we had to get busy or we lose our positions.
Just dropping an axe on all of us pretty much lets us know that we weren't really a part of anything.

Everyone's doing their best, trolling and flaming happens everywhere, you just don't care and try to find excuses to shut down this section.
This section is clean. And mind the Scrcrw's flaming, that's rare and irrelevant. And for fuck sake remove that avatar!
