reinstall crossfire.
mined used to do taht, try restarting.

Mine used to do that, idk it workds now, it was ages ago try downloading again

Mine done that too, I think it was because I was trying to record the replay or something, just try closing any background programs which may be influencing it (eg recording software, instant messaging.)
