Do you ever intentionally click on youtube ads?

I was wondering if anyone ever intentionally clicks on youtbe ads because they know it will give money to the person that has the video. I do this all the time to help out other youtubers, am I the only one?

thats what I used to think. But then I thought if it was me who had the video, I know I would want people to click it. And if its one of those ones that plays the ad ten seconds before the video, I click it anyways cause im gonna have to watch it. I guess im just a generous guy

For every 1,000 views, they get 50 cents to 5 dollars. That's enough in my eyes. They don't need the ads. I mean Shane Dawson lives off of his YouTube views bringing in like $300,000 a year. He don't need ads.
