Questions about Torrents.

So, this is my basic knowledge of what I think a torrent is.

A torrent is a program for recieving files. all it really does is save the files completed location so if your internet is disconnected then it can resume where it left off. Am I right about that?

Also, I am using BitTorrent. And it slows my comp down horribly. Is there a better torrent program that wont suck my bandwith and memory in like a bottomless french whore?

what you wanna know about **********? its a uplaoding site you can upload stuff and download them leater or give a link to a friend to download it, you can like share things with it...

i prefer azerus, and if u have a routher REMEMBER TO PoRT FORWARD OR UR CONNECTIOn WILL BE SLOW, and sometimes if ur uploading at like 55kb's and only downloading at like 20kb/s then lower ur upload to like 20kb/s and watch ur download shoot up

na azerus is java made useses loads of memory so if you got low memory dont use it it will lag your pc...
