Host My Own M.C Server?

okay i am noob to this section, no shit, but i know the basic stuff of minecraft, and i was wondering, if i can host a 'cracked' server that my local friends can join and play, is this possible?, and how do i go about doing this?.. i'm speaking pirated copy of M.C + a cracked server, how do i become host.. or you can just link me in the right direction.

Tips? Well, The best way is to use the program : Simple Port Forwarding. So you wont have to do all the hard crap.

Make a bukkit server. YouTube Helps alot. I did with my mac and did work. Just my internet was bad at the moment. But it does work

You do need to ask me

If you want to create a simple server running of your computer, you can use the native server by mojang.

If you want to have plugins (antigrief, commands etc) you should download bukkit.

You should also open the port 25565 if you want people to connect, if you have no acess to the router you can use hamachi.
