XP Users: MUST READ: ABOUT STRIFES HACK!

OKAY GUYS READ THIS:
IM SORRY FOR POSTING ANOTHER ONE OF THESE, BUT CLEARLY THIS DOESNT INVOLVE RESTARTING COMPUTERS,RE-LOGGING IN ACCOUNTS, and other things that was very complicated.


I figured it out for XP People and this clearly works 100% for me.
Credits to: ARBITRARYDRONE,HELLAIM and ME!

1st:Go to C:\Nexon\CombatARMS. The click on the folder named
HSHIELD
-DELETE UPDATE FOLDER
-DELETE HSHIELD.txt
AND SUPDATE.txt |NOTEPAD|TXT|

2nd: Open Strife's hack (prefered original, not carms)

3rd: Open Combat arms, Press game start and right away PRESS OK!

4th: It should load, and it will give an error, and outside of it will be a black screen.

WITH THE ERROR AND THE BLACK SCREEN, CLICK ON THE BLACK SCREEN RIGHT AWAY OR IT WILL
MINIMIZE.

5th: HAVE FUN!
-NOTE-: ALWAYS DO STEP 1 WHEN YOU GO ON COMBAT ARMS. <----- VERY IMPORTANT.

Here is THE VIDEO GUYS. Its a bit laggy cuz i had limewire open lol.

The only way to not make it lag is (if you haven't yet) take out your TEX.REZ FILES! The reason its lagging is because of that error.

i do all the steps(i have xp) and the hack shield thing goes and then i wait for like 3-5mins and nothing goes black or a error

Ignore the last post where I said you had to restart it.
If it doesn't work the first time just keep doing it OVER and OVER and OVER again making sure you delete the EXACT files that skool listed.

It worked fine for me after I did it about 4 times without restarting :]
Helpful tip if you're trying to click OK right after Game Start is to use an autoclicker ;]

Mine Didnt work at all untill the last pacth then i tryed and it worked great even the no fog and no fall damage..

HS updates when I start up the game, so it doesn't work for me.

Its suppose to update the reason you delete Update in your hshield folder is for it to load longer. I have no idea why this does not work on vista.

Interesting. Maybe you could try something different. I don't fuckin' understand why XP and Vista users have completely different issues. With Vista, most of the time all I read is "run as Admin", so I'm assuming it's sorta a Client-OS, and there's a Vista Server or it's P2P. (I haven't read much, but I think I remember hearing about Vista running servers or as one). Other than that I read somewhere that it's 64 bit, and allows faster RAM usage, along with some different skins.
I really haven't read into it all that much.
EDIT: First page I read mentions a few changes, including it's aim to increase communitication in P2P networks for home use.

Worked for me yesterday 9/10 right after the patch I have no idea why it does not work now usually just freezes my comp and I cant open any application file. I have tried lagging my comp, setting hshield priority to low this tutroial and others and no luck=/
