Nyan UMP looks terrible

I promised @Horatio Caine a Nyan UMP .45, but its turns out like crap every time. I suck at Photoshop, so I need ideas. Also every time I make it, the design shading turns out messed up.

I can just say.

Change the bigthness and sature.

Try to use this:
Open PH CS5.

Image > Advance > Vibration (Or what its called..)
