Custom Sights

Does anyone know how to or know if theres a tutorial on how to change the color of the Red dot/Holographic sights?

I'm too lazy to post the threads, but I'm pretty sure that if you look around in the MW2 section, you will find a thread that explains what file you need to edit. Then you can follow the custom scope tutorial in the "mw2 texture modding" section.

I know how to edit the sight itself, what I want to do is make it a different color like green. I know someone told me to edit the RGB channels or something, but I have no idea how to do it.

How can you google something wrong? *LOL'S* Sure I can go google it but maybe, JUST MAYBE!!!! Google can fail sometimes. It explains what the RGB channels do but it doesn't explain how to take a simple image and use the channels to change it to a different color. ALL I WANT, is to make the RED DOT SIGHT, a GREEN DOT SIGHT.

Ask any other texture tutorial.
You just have to search for the red dot sight and find the dot.
(Not that hard if you search)
