Only if you want to .
I don't really fuck with iPods much since I have mp3 player on my Android but I stole some kid's iPod and was wondering if I sync'd it to my laptop, would all the music on it, go to my "Music" folder?
You need special software to import songs from iPod to PC. Like SharePod.
When you sync a library it syncs your itunes library to the ipod, ie it will overwrite the library on the ipod entirely. You can only sync songs that you purchased back over to itunes and you would need his itunes password to play those anyways... Always make sure manual sync is turned on so you can add and remove songs without re syncing entire library
and itunes music is put in:
C:\Users\kitten\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Music
(with your own pc name, of course ><)

As far as I know thats for older ipods anyways, Like itouch, and iphone cant do that. but for those you can use a program to view the hidden folders to access it if its jailbroken.
plus that method isnt really useful songs are in a bunch of different folders, with names like 09u37.mp3 n stuff.
Then all of the songs are named weird. use Disk Aid
