My "Life Story" -- Poem Version

I am new to Poetry, so... Please bear with me.

Parents met in Hawaii,
And dated for 5 Months.
After 22 years of marriage,
My dad is 50 years of age.
And as you can see,
I'm still here and free.

I was born in July,
And do for a while will not die.

I love to play Video Games,
And I have no shame.

I am true and honest,
I'm not a Con Artist.

I eat everything on my plate,
And am deprived of hate.

My life has been fun,
I will live for years to come.

I know some doesn't Rhyme, and I personally don't care at the moment. I'm just happy I made a Poem.

What do y'all think?

My friend, and all my other friends who belive poems have to rhyme all the time, this could be a


Free verse, cinquain, maybe name poem,,narrative poem,haiku, and tanka

although some of my statements are pretty stupid it is probably either a free verse or a narrative poem

I liked it, don't really care if it does rhyme or doesn't.
My teacher even said poems don't always have to rhyme.
Even I know that for a fact, even though I don't know shit about poetry.
