How to find signatures?

How can i find signatures of offsets so if the game updates i can easily find the new ones?

Search for an array of bytes that are in all versions of MW2. You can use wildcards if any of the bytes randomize per update. Then simply use an array of byte scanner and search for your signature. Use the returned address and add the relative distances or offsets to get your addies.

Eg.
I was trying to scan AlterIW (1.3.37)
My pattern is - FF 00 0F AA ?? FF
I get 0x85E0B0 after doing an array of byte scan.
I want to find the Refdef value which is 0x85EFB0 on AlterIW.
To get refedef on any version of MW2 (assuming you have a good/working signature), I'd scan for my signature and then add 0xF00 because thats the difference between the two addresses.
