    Erm why do I lag when I look from one side to another?

    I am lagging a bit ( always do but now its annoying ) like in a full game say i look across to enemy base I like like down to 35 FPS?

    and use msconfig
    start>run>msconfig
    helps a shit load.
    also check to see how much of your hardrive space is used.
    defrag your comp
    un partition your hardrive. ( if you are good with comp this could dmamge it if you dont do it right)

    I'm going to answer your originally question as to, "why," this happens...
    It's probably textures, shadows, everything loading when you look somewhere else.
