How was I hacked?

So my facebook account was disabled while I was away, and all of my emails passwords are changed
I know the virus game, I know how to tell whats safe and whats sketch, and how viruses work
I haven't downloaded anything recently, and I literally searched every file on my computer by hand and I don't know how they got me
I do know however that it was just another skiddie who didn't know how to hide his fucking tracks, because my google location got changed from San Fran to Albany, CA and on Gmails account recovery it shows the first 3 letters of his email he used to take mine


In short, whats a good antivirus that would be able to catch whatever bug I got?

But i use avira.

Malware bytes is pretty good, but you might want to look into downloading some of the professional versions like NOD or Kapersky or some shit like that.

Probably the best one I've ever used.

Make sure you run a scan with SpyBots Search And Destroy to find rootkits and things like that.

Also....don't listen to the guy above me....Norton is bullshit.

Norton is a piece of shit, anyone who brought it up in this thread is getting de-repped
NOD is okay, there was this one I used to know that everytime you download it it generates a random name so viruses can't stop it

yeehhh Norton is far too greedy. it managed to find it's way on my new computer after 1 month.. I use malwarebytes anti malware or w/e, works a charm. Though i'm never stupid enough to get a virus

I'm hoping the kid is still sending packets to my computer, knowing skript kiddies he probably isn't using a proxy and if he really is close I can get an area code.
From there, its just a matter of kicking the ass of every nerd I see
