Why does it lag in the vid

Frame rate capture prolly. what's your screen recorder and how many FPS was it capturing

FRAPS is the best screen recorder for games.

i was playing @ 40 fps or smth and recording on lowest of fraps

30fps

well almost lowest

your fraps was recording like 50% of the frams that were actually being played.

Btw 50% is just a random number

horrible render settings btw...... should be 16:9 (widescreen) and whatnot.
if you're using Windows Movie Maker


Fraps is best for full screen games, not for desktop recording.
Camtasia and ZD Soft are the best for desktop

i used camtasia but i got even more lag with that

but it gives more lag while recording not while rendering

and thanks for those settings

50FPS is decent, but i recommend the highest FPS you can go w/out lagging

Still cant watch the vid... but well, higher FPS. And you may need a better PC.
